| Starting off |
| The first screen you encountered was the Main menu. From there you can access all the main sections of the disc. Clicking Configure allows you to set the disc up to suit your needs |

You can choose either Foundation or Higher level, to match the level you are studying at school, and Single, if you are studying Physics as a single science,
or Double, if you are studying Physics as part of double lience.

| Study Points |
When you enter the Study Points menu
you will see the six topics you must study for GCSE Physics on the left hand side of the screen. Clicking on one of the topics will cause a list of all the study points in that topic to appear on right hand side of the screen. Clicking on a study point title will take you to the study point screen. |

The text is presented as clear bullet points with a relevant picture or diagram to aid your
understanding of the topic. Clicking on the picture will cause it to enlarge and the text to disappear. Another click on the picture will return the screen to its original state. | |
| Some words are coloured red. These are difficult words contained in the glossary. Clicking on a red word causes a definition of the word to appear. |

Some screens contain animations,
to illustrate important or difficult concepts. Use the play button to start the animation. If you wish to watch a part of the animation again, use the progress bar underneath the animation to control it.
Clicking on the animation will cause it to play full screen. |

| Revision Lab |
When you enter the Revision Lab menu
you have a number of decisions to make before you begin to attempt the questions. Your first decision is Topic or Quiz. Select Topic for more structured revision, as you can choose to answer questions on one of the four Chemistry topics. Quiz gives you a number of randomly chosen questions from all the topics. |

After you have chosen a topic or Quiz, you need to decide whether to attempt questions in Learn or Test mode. In Learn mode you must get each question correct
before you are allowed to continue. In this way you can see exactly where you are going wrong when you are having difficulties. When you are confident of your knowledge, use Test mode to check how complete your knowledge really is. | |
Your final decision is the number of
questions. You can choose to answer ten, twenty or thirty questions.
Having made the final decision you will be taken into Revision Lab and can begin attempting questions. A progress bar on the question screens will indicate how far through a particular question set you are. | | |
